Secure Off-Site Backups:

TAD uses 128 bit SSL security provided by GeoTrust to ensure secure and confidential client-server
transactions while users are logged into their TADAccounting accounts. This means you can rest
assured that communications (e.g. credit card numbers) between your browser and the
TAD servers are private and secure when the SSL session is activated.
TAD internet and intranet network connections are firewalled and filtered to allow only permitted traffic.
Files on TAD are locked using Microsoft® Windows security and permissions. TAD authentication
methods for logins use the Kerberos protocol which is among the most secure and reliable protocols
TAD constantly monitors Microsoft security updates for its systems and applies all necessary
TAD provides hard drive redundancy in case of hard drive failures and data clustering in case of
server failures. With hard drive redundancy, a second hard drive takes over if one fails. With data
clustering, data is replicated to a secondary server creating two sets of live data in case one
Employees of TAD sign non-disclosure and employment agreements that clearly state breach of privacy policies and punishments leading to termination. TAD stresses the importance of client security with its employees from initial hiring to final termination.
Company's can request a corporate NDA as long as the document does not stop TAD from servicing companies within the NDA's same industry or location.
We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored personal information to you via email or conspicuous posting on this Site without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.
When you become a client of TAD you are giving a username and password to access your control panel, and a separate username and password to access your financial data. It is in your best interest to always keep this information safe. You should never write this information down and place in an unsecure area, nor should you allow your computer to remember you. To safeguard your data, you should always reenter your security information each time you enter the TAD system.
The Information that TAD Collects, and How it is Used
In order to provide accounting services to your company, our staff will ask you to provide personally identifiable information about you, your employees and your company. This information will consist of company information, payroll information, vendors and client information, tax information, financial information, bank and credit card information and any other accounting information needed to provide service to your company. We will ask for a credit card or ACH submittal in regards to payment for services rendered. If you choose to have others access your company files, we will collect personal information about them as well so that we may verify their identity.
TAD asks you to provide information about how to contact you by telephone, fax and e-mail. We will use this information to provide you with updated information and service your account in other ways. We will never use this information to contact you about additional products or services that may be of interest to you. Any addition of services that we feel will benefit your company would be discussed via phone conversation. Once agreed, more information about additional services would be sent to your email.
TAD does not share, rent, or trade Personally Identifiable Informatiom with third parties for their promotional purposes.
How Information May Be Shared
Service Providers. We share your personal information with third parties as needed to maintain, support and operate the Site and to perform Site-related services (e.g., maintenance services, database management, web analytics and improvement of the TAD's features). These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. TAD cooperates with government and law enforcement officials or private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of TAD or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.
Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information. We may share aggregated information which does not include personal information and we may otherwise disclose non-identifying information and log data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. Any such aggregated information will not contain your personal information.
How to Correct Inaccurate Information
TAD relies on accurate information in order to service your account properly. TAD should be informed should an employee be removed who had access to your financial data, if your company changes address or your company files for bankruptcy. Any significant financial situation should be disclosed to your accountant so that our records may be modified.

Our Policy Toward Children
This Site is intended for business-to-business use and is not directed to children under the age of 18. If a parent becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, he or she should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If we become aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our files.
We post customer testimonials on our web site which may contain personally identifiable information such as the customer's name. We do obtain the customer's consent prior to posting the testimonial to post their name along with their testimonial.
