TADAccounting, LLC, an online full service accounting company, grew out of the innovative work of Lance and Deanna Gildea. Online outsourced accounting barely existed in 1995 when the Gildea’s began TADAccounting. They realized that many businesses would benefit from easy access to full service online accounting.
The few companies that did provide an online accounting service tended to focus on payroll and accounts receivable/payable.
Lance and Deanna understood that small to medium size businesses struggle just to afford a bookkeeper, much less CPA services. They knew an online full service accounting product was the ticket for these businesses. Once accounting services are handled effectively, the client can focus on the core business.
For less than the cost of a bookkeeper, TADAccounting made it possible for even the smallest business to have the same quality accounting services as a larger competitor. Lance, who managed the technology side of the company, created a custom designed platform that allowed each client to use his or her preferred software. Then Gildea’s innovative work was recognized by Accounting Today who put them on the cover of the January, 2000 issue with a feature article about TADAccounting. They were recognized as Pioneers of the Virtual Future.
While Lance worked on new technology projects, Deanna grew TADAccounting into a successful, totally virtual company. The company provides accounting, bookkeeping and tax services to small and medium size businesses across the country. Services are provided remotely utilizing proprietary hosting services for accounting files and data.
Deanna Gildea, CPA and owner, graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1987 with a BBA, concentration in Accounting. She worked for KPMG for 5 years in the audit division, followed by several years as an assistant controller and controller in the reinsurance and construction industries.
